What's NewHolly Shaw accepted in Loyola Marymount University!This fall, Holly Shaw will be majoring in Communication and Fine Art this fall at the prestigious Loyola Marymount University. Holly was also accepted at Santa Clara University, Seattle University, and the University of San Francisco. A talented artist, many of Holly's paintings are displayed around campus and have been highlighted in our newsletters and magazines. Holly is also responsible for a large part of the painting seen in the elaborate sets of last year's Lower School musicals "Alice in Wonderland Jr." and "Dear Edwina Jr." in addition to the recent Elementary School production of "Guys and Doll Jr." Congratulations Holly and good luck! Alex Rodriguez & Samantha Ingallina Accepted into the Cal Poly Pomona Architecture School!Congratulations to Alex Rodriguez and Samantha Ingallina, both recently accepted in the Cal Poly Pomona Department of Architecture! Alex and Samantha were 2 of the 100 accepted applicants out of the approximately 1000 that applied. Alex has been taking classes at Pasadena Community College throughout this Senior Year in the field of architecture. Alex was also accepted into SCI-ARC, the Southern California Institute of Architecture, but will be accepting Pomona's offer. Alex is a talented artist and you can see many of his pieces displayed around campus. Samantha is interested in pursuing a career in Residential Architecture and is looking forward to starting classes in the fall at Pomona. She was also accepted at CSU Northridge, CSU Long Beach, and UC Riverside. Samantha is most well known around campus for her achievements on the Varsity Volleyball team and her work with Student Government. Good luck to the both of you! Jake Isham Accepted into Chapman University Film School!Congratulations to Jake Isham and his recent decision to attend Chapman University's Film School this fall! Chapman's highly competitive program is world renown and has a faculty with a combined total of over 150 feature films to their credit. Jake was also accepted into the similarly competitive and prestigious Loyola Marymount University Film School. Jake has been producing, directing and filming short films throughout his high school career and is very excited to take his art to the next level. You may also remember Jake as the vibrant host of our 2009 Winter and Spring Music Cafes and the director of the Lower School musical production "Dear Edwina Jr." last November, not to mention his excellent work producing and directing the 2008 Parent Appreciation Video.
